To ensure a region is properly resourced and those resources effectively utilised to achieve its business goals, whilst working within the agreed financial framework. To implement and police procedures as prescribed to ensure that group retail business standards are met. To develop and implement plans to ensure the highest level of staff and customer satisfaction · To create and encourage a positive impression o the Retail group through leading by example in every area of customer service and encouraging others to improve their customer focus · To handle any referred customer issues promptly and completely to promote and maintain the highest standards of customer service · To visit units on a regular basis, monitoring General Managers and unit standards in order to complete a Unit Visit Report and provide motivation and support · To organise regular General Managers meetings to involve and motivate the managers in the region and promote effective communication throughout the business · To monitor sales targets, productivity and profitability margins and work with the individual units to ensure their targets are achieved · To identify business development opportunities to promote and encourage new business · To adhere to and positively demonstrate that Company policies, procedures and standards are met at all times · To produce a weekly Regional Managers report to contribute to effective communication and business analysis
